Hi,
my name is Bernd and I live in central/western Germany. I started this fascinating hobby in the early '80s with a 2" azimutal refractor, now I'm in my 50s and do astrophotography with my 70/336 mm APO, 130/728 mm APO and 254/1450 mm Newtonian.
AstroBin is a great place to see stunning astro pictures, learn from great masters of AP and get inspired by lots of wonderful Deep Sky objects for the next astro project!

Yes… I understand… I live in Switzerland and find some good nights is not easy! Your M31 is beautiful. I try the subject with 200/800 but it is not top. I`m wating the rigt time tu try with 72ED. I just hope I don't have to wait too long.

Ich komme aus der Gegend von Mainz. International betrachtet fast dasselbe Pixel!
Da meine Bilder nun kamerabedingt fast immer deutlich größer sind als 3840 Pixel, brauchte ich mal einen Ort, an dem ich nicht reduzieren muss.

=14pxReally bad weather period here right now, but maybe tomorrow will be an opportunity to add some Halpha signal to my M31 image. 12/12 was, finally, an opportunity for Halpha imaging. Took a while to process and adding the Halpha signal to the image without overemphasizing the red Halpha regions… I like the result, but comments welcome…
