The code is cross-platform; I use it on Linux, should also work fine on macOS. Current limitations:
- field rotation is not compensated for
- automatic detection of planetary disk position and diameter works reasonably well only for nearly fully-lit planets; otherwise (e.g., for Mars far from opposition) has to be tweaked manually after loading the images
