Hi @Salvatore Iovene

I might have stumbled on a minor "bug".

I added a new image yesterday.
https://app.astrobin.com/u/Bennich?i=mvqpua#gallery

I added a version, and then very shortly after, I replaced it with another version.

When I view the image details, the plate-solving status message is still present, even though the image has been plate solved.

I hope above gives you enough details to figure out what's going on.

Thank you!

Hi Christian,

Whe you say:

"When I view the image details, the plate-solving status message is still present, even though the image has been plate solved."

please note that the message referred to the "advanced plate-solving performed by PixInsight" while your image had only gone thru the basic plate-solving provided by astrometry.net.

AstroBin plate-solves in two stages and the differences are documented here:
https://welcome.astrobin.com/features/astrometry-tools

In your screenshot you can see that you had a position in the queue of 30.

I can see that your image was also plate-solved with PixInsight now, as you have AstroBin Ultimate, so all is good!

Hope this helps!
Salvatore

Ahh, perfect. I was not aware of the “advanced” platesolving 😉

Thank you!
