The adapters necessary for the Esprit 100 are essential, then I needed a 40mm extender adapter, and for the Riccardi a Primaluce Adapter
M81/M68 Essato/Arco 3".
The riccardi goes inside the rotator, I already had the Riccardi inside a Pegasus rotator, so I already had all the necessary adapters for the backfocus extenders.
I hope I've helped.

Hey Toni, could you please write me in more detail the distance from the reducer to the camera sensor? I added that 40 mm extender and it's still not in focus!

Hi Dumitru.
You have to respect these instructions 100%. https://www.primalucelab.com/blog/support/replacing-your-stock-focuser-how-to-check-if-you-can-reach-focus-with-esatto/

The focuser only has 2.5cm of travel, and any error can result in no focus.
You have to calculate the focus distance with your original setup, and calculate that distance. In my case I needed 40mm, try to calculate these measurements carefully.
If you need more help, tell me

I think I followed those instructions, I'll attach a photo where you can take a look.
So from the camera to the OAG is 55 mm, and after that I first attached a 40 mm adapter and it didn't work, last night I put a 16.5 mm + 1 mm spacer, so a total of 72.5 respecting the thickness of the filters that move the focus a little. So even with that 16.5 mm adapter it's too much, it probably needs a shorter one, that's why I wanted to find out how far your sensor is from the m48 thread that is attached to the riccardi.

I have recovered some images of how I calculated everything.
My backfocus from the riccardi to the sensor is approximately 77.80, that is my starting point. With essato or without it. I used the riccardi before changing the focuser, if you have put it new, its backfocus is enough. 77-78mm.
Yo u need more spacers.

it seems I found the mistake, I need to add 40 mm extender from primalucelab not 65 mm as it is currently installed on my esprit, and I didn't understand correctly and added 40 mm spacer between the camera and the reducer.smile
Thank you very much for your help Tonismile I realized I was wrong after seeing your pictures, where you measured the distance from the first adapter to the Arco and it is 150 mm, on my telescope it is 175mm.

@Toni Fabiani I hope you are doing well, thank you very much for your help, by changing that 40 mm adapter I managed to achieve focus. I have terrible tilt but I will take care of it too. I wish you a clear sky and who knows, maybe we will write to each other again ;)

p.s. I will upload a picture with my telescope

I'm glad you're finally able to focus.
The tilt issue shouldn't be happening; this must be a very strong block. I hope you can fix it.
