Yeah, but it sucks if u cannot work on the folder where u want. Also now I found another issue. It’s still linked to the folder when I try to run a script in Siril within that selected folder. Siril responds, "No, I can't do that here," and the script fails to execute. If I want to work on the stacked image, I have to go back to the desired folder again. This issue wasn't present before when I had 2 drivers, and right now, it's very embarrassing to have to go back and forth.

Siril is used by a large amount of people daily (myself included). If the program was "dumb", "silly", "ridiculous", "cooked" "embarrassing" (just a few of your adjectives) people wouldn't use it. And on top of that it's free. The amount of work that the Siril team has put into this program is astounding, and again FOR FREE to you.

This isn't your first complaint session about the program. Please take the time to learn the basics of how things actually work. There are plenty of well done tutorials on Youtube. Or write a better program yourself. 

As for your specific issue, you were given the solution. It doesn't have to do with a folder of "your name" it has to do with your Accent over the A in your name (what ever that's called, I'm American we have 26 letters lol) 

And as for your last complaint, is your working directory set to where the FIT file is located? (again back to basics)
