Hello there,

I recently acquired 21 hours of M74 with a color camera and the EdgeHD 9.25. The link to my result is as follows:

The resolution per pixel of my image is 0.479 arcsec/pixel

I am looking for someone who has imaged M74 with the same or similar resolution per pixel and who is willing to share data in order to try to achieve a better image with higher integration time and signal.

CS,
Ivan

Im intersted, I have not yet imaged M74, but I have access to iTelescope's rigs. I will review them to see which is the best fit and post the potential systems here for confirmation before imaging.

Which camera did you use?

Hello Curtis,

I image with ZWO ASI2600MC-Pro.

I approached Rob Calfee and he agreed to share his material of M74 which interestingly is with the exact resolution per pixel as mine. With his material we will have total integration of above 50 hours. I hope to be able to process the material during the weekend.

CS,
Ivan

Looks like iTelescope's T73 would be a good match. It is a <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Planewave CDK14, <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->f/7.2, focal length <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->2,563mm, it uses a ASI2600MM Pro (mono) camera.

You can view more of its specifications in the spreadsheet below on line 27.

If you agree then I can capture some images using this scope.

Let me know.

Hello Curtis,

Sorry for my late reply. Yes, this scope looks awesome. I can see that its resolution per pixel is 0.31" which we will have to downgrade to 0.479" in order to be able to stack with my data. But I think that it should be achievable. And the data from it will be light years away in quality in comparison to mine. I don't know if mine will contribute at all.

Best regards,
Ivan

OK. I will capture some data and let you know when it is ready. Im assuming and can image the target from that location, but have not confirmed yet.
