Can't figure out the best settings to have this plate solved. Any ideas? whatever it keeps coming up with is i think incorrect.

Did you try entering the parameters on the images technical page? I’m on my phone so it’s hard to tell if it’s right.

I think that's probably based on the incorrect plate-solving to begin with. But I could do a rough approximation maybe from Stellarium or something.

the solution looks right to me? 110 virgo and 108 virgo are near the tail…

Should I expect to see Venus and the Comet in the plate solve? also it has stars that are below the horizon annotated - maybe thats correct but how could I remove those? I guess i'm not that familiar with annotations of landscapes.

i don’t think the database has planets or transients. also AB expects full frame astronomical images so it’s annotating stuff below the horizon. i don’t think it knows where the earth is…

If you go to your image and go on top there is an option for the advanced plate solve settings that you can see all the options for. I’m on mobile so I can’t tell you what the label is, but on mobile it’s under the little pencil icon.
