We know MS copilot is garbage (go figure), and Chat GPT4 is a paid service. Google is becoming less relevant every day…

I recently stumbled across a “free” AI that can actually answer astro acquisition and processing questions.  Boggles my mind (even after a 25 year IT career) how it can weed out all the garbage on the internet and come up with useful answers. 

I’m not sure if I should link it, but it’s called

perplexity ai.

It’s not astro specific but it does a FAR better job than any other AI I’ve tried.  I’ve learned more in the past week with it than I have in a year of google searches. 

I have not created an account, I have no affiliation with them, I don’t pay them, and they don’t pay me. 

I just thought I would throw this out there because I’m finding it REALLY useful.
