What is the name of the group? I cannot see anything right now, does it need moderation to become visible?

Astrobin Community Survey. I can see the threads on the front page. But, of course, that doesn't mean I haven't done something wrong. CS Brian

I can’t find it either: perhaps you created a private group instead of a public one.

Finally some clear weather after almost a month of storms. Managed to grab 2 fields last night and hopefully two more tonight.

@Brian Boyle I love the idea, but IMHO the real data gap is between 1200mm and 2000mm. CS David

As soon as I get my CDK 12.5", I'll gladly contribute, I'm intending on doing various deep fields specifically of Abell Clusters in IR and Visible.

@David Redwine@V.M Legary Thank you for your interest. ThE ABC survey was designed around 100-200mn focal lengths., so we could cover the entire sky in a reasonable time, After a year was have over 2/3rds of the southern sky completed, although only 10% of the northern sky. This reflects, in part the difficulty of accessing dark skies in the northern hemisphere. A survey at other focal lengths would no doubt be useful, but I will leave others to organize! CS Brian

CS Brian Absolutely, I'd go as far to say you could integrate an "enhanced view" using overlays of higher focal length images of notable objects as a modified version of the survey over the main HIPS, like how the standard Stellarium view without HIPS or DSS handles DSO's.
