Dear AstroBinners,
I have R G B frames of Mars,
There is about a 10min delay between them
So when I combine the RGB colors, they don't properly overlap
I need to somehow derotate individual frames
I tried watching a video on Winjupos but it's super complicated
Could someone explain in simple terms what do I click to get individual channels aligned?
Or maybe there is a simple video on it?
Thanks!

Are they individual frames?? Like did you shoot Mars a similar way you would to a DSO??
If its frames that you've captured from a video the View Into Space has a good video on that

I shot it like DSO
have red frame
green frame
and blue frame
each 10 min apart
I want to unite them into RGB without colors mixing up - so basically derotate and compose RGB Image

Lets say there is a mountain on mars Its in the center But due to 10min rotation of Mars on each of R G B frames It smears across And gets a rainbow color on each side due to the fact that each color is a little behind

Yeah he is processing the moon but the same techniques should be able to be employed and the programs should rotate and frame the individual images correctly for you to the further process https://youtu.be/8Iyr5W38ZN8?si=mVmDrJIYz3tbn6XX |

You could also use photoshop by loading them into a stack then aligning all 3 frames manually
File -> Scripts or Automate -> load into stack
Choose respective frames
Change the layer type to overlay or screen at say 50% opacity so you can see what your doing
Use the crop tool to manually align the frames over each other
