Finally got out last night, the shortest night of the year!! Got two targets in a very short period of time. Probably could have set up tonight, but it was looking iffy! Clear skies?? Happy Solstice!

Hi Everyone, this is Donna26 from Sutton MA. It has been about 1 year since I purchased my first telescope for visual. Then moved on to astrophotography shortly thereafter. As you all know it is a pretty steep learning curve, but addicting and amazing. What happened to the clear skies? It has been over a month since my last image. Happy to meet you all.

Hello Donna, Massachusetts Astro is a slow moving group. I agree, clear skies seem to be long gone from New England after a fantastic month of May (at least here in the South shore). This is a time to really watch the weather astronomy apps and get the telescope ready for any window that opens. I did that a couple of nights ago and was not disappointed. Clear skies, Alicia
