Hi, my name is Stefano, 57, from Bergamo, North of Italy. My passion for sky observation began 8 years ago when I purchased my first telescope, the Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ. With it, I learned to do visual observation, but more specifically, to search for deep-sky objects (DSOs) using star-hopping. After a couple of years with this small reflector, I transitioned to a 10" Dobsonian, which I later sold last year to begin my experience with refractors. Currently I own: The bincoular telescope APM 100mm 45° SD APO that I use on the Berlebach UNI-19C tripod e the Tecnosky double refractor OWL 150 on the Skywatcher EQ6-R Pro mount. During these years I have not matured any interest in the astrophotgrafy so all my chages of telescopes have been done to enrich my experience as visualist. |

Hi, I’ve just returned home from a lovely trip to Italy, in the Marche region. Whether you're a visual observer or an astrophotographer, the goal is the same: to reach farther out, find and capture more of what's out there than we can see with the naked eye alone. The processing and post-work is a big part of the fun. Good luck! |
