Recently registered here, i would like to present myself. I come from Aix en Provence in the south east of France. It's complicated here to shoot without filter at home but there is a lot of good places 2h of road around. Even a a place with the label "International preserved night sky" (sorry for the translation)
I do astrophotography since 1 year and I already changed my setup several times. Started with a NEQ5 for my 200/1000 SW with D3200 as camera, i just upgraded my set up with EQ6R Pro for the same tube, and an ASI294MC Pro with Asiair Plus
This setup change my astrophotography routine and this is really easy to assess comparing my previous setup.I shoot especially nebulas because they offer more possibilities for processing with L-eXtrem.
Entire setup:
SW 200/1000 - EQ6R Pro
ASI294MC Pro with ASIAIR +
L-eXtrem + L-Pro (disappointed about this last filter ...)
Coma corrector TS Optics Maxfield 0,95X
My future purchase will be Autoguiding system + Autofocuser, but my bank are continuously angry with my astrophotography purchases
