I've been a keen amateur photographer for a while and now I've retired I have time to begin astrophotography which is something I've wanted to do for a while. I've very recently bought a 2nd hand Skywatcher 80ED pro and HEQ5 mount which I shall couple with my trusty (and as yet unmodified) Canon 7D. I'm using the cloud driven down time to become familiar with the kit and looking forward to some cloudless nights soon. No doubt I'll have a few questions over the next few weeks.
