Check out this movie, shot in infrared.

I'm shooting NGC7000 and it seems that on an otherwise very clear night the air is full of bugs, moisture droplets, and pollen. So much so, it looks like a blizzard!

None of this was visible with my headlamp. Nor did it seem to affect my imaging session.
