Hello,

it would be great if there are more data options for "Long exposure acquisition sessions". I am doing mosaic and data will be collected from multiple locations. I would like to know in my acquisition input where have I done that session (and in what Bortle level) and for what panel. And maybe some other input field like "Other" where I can manually write whatever I want (for example SQM values if I did measurement and stuff like that)

This would be very useful information.

Hi Antonio,

while the acquisition sessions currently don't support multiple mosaic panels, you can specify things like Bortle scale and SQM for each session. Click on the 3-dots menu to open additional settings!

Ah ok, I found where I can enter data for those, but what about selecting exact location? That would be most helpful of all stuff. By the time I finish mosaic, it would be absolute chaos in acquisition details and I would like to know where I did each session.

Also as an idea if you decide to make panel number information. It would be great if we would be able to group data, for example like: panel number - filter

Yes, that would be great indeed! Adding support for mosaic panels is on the todo list. It would make it possible to group acquisition session by panel and add specific equipment to each panel. Unfortunately this not available yet tho!

Do you have this as a very long term milestone, or will it be sometime soon?

I don't have a set schedule for this specific feature, and I do have several more important and complex features that I think have a higher priority.

However, early next year I plan do get the community's feedback to help me prioritize the next big features, according to what people want the most.

Before I start the next one, I will spend a day or two pre-planning this, tho, to understand how complex it would be to implement. Normally I sneak smaller features in as I can, in between large bodies of work.
