Maybe not a new idea but wouldn’t it be cool to be able to browse AB images on a sky map?

That would allow users to see the concentration of images on well-known objects and also to detect more « pristine » locations.

You could even imagine an AB layer in Stellarium but that sounds complex…

Many thanks Andrea! That's very close to what I had in mind and a great resource.
Of course even better would be to have the ability browse the sky map, zoom in, display constellations, etc.

I think that SkySafari can do something like you need. And somebody built a catalogue for Cartes du Ciel. But yes something built for purpose would be indeed nice!
