As the subject line states, what would be the best way to share master stacked image from PixInsight to the Astrobin community?? AstroBin doesn't currently offer to host your raw data, unfortunately. If you have Ultimate, you can attach a single file (XISF, TIFF, PS2) to your image using the "Actions" menu and "Upload uncompressed data source". So I would say the best way is to use Google Drive or similar and just share the link. Also I'm currently going back to old data and re-processing them as I learn more with PixInsight... for a image that I've already uploaded, and re-processed do i just upload the new image as a revision to the previous one?? or can I delete the orginal and upload the new?? AstroBin recommends the etiquette explained here: https://welcome.astrobin.com/features/image-revisions#faq But it's not enforced. @wsg mentioned the IOTD/TP rules, which enforce not uploading and submitting a new image if it's just reprocessing of old data. Hope this helps! Salvatore |
