Hello everyone! Okay, so I’m feeling really lost here with my Seastar and its EQ mode. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now, and I’m totally confused. I finally got the EQ wedge and the screw sorted out to fit the Seastar, but—like—is this how it's supposed to work? It’s my first time using this setup, and I usually stick to ALT AZ mode, so it’s all new to me. I thought I followed the instructions correctly? The app says the Seastar should face north at a 47° angle at my location, but when I tried to check the polar alignment, it just failed. I’m sitting here wondering what I could possibly be doing wrong! Is there a specific way to do this polar alignment thing? Do I need to take the Seastar outside or something? Honestly, I feel like I’m missing something big because this just isn’t making sense to me. I thought I knew it just needed to align with the North Pole, but now I’m doubting everything! Can anyone please help me figure this out? I really don’t know what I’m doing here! I'm currently turned it off cause im clueless.  |
