Hello All, I am trying to resolve this issue before tonight's imaging session. I have used my Apple Tablet for years with both my ASIAir Pro and Plus. Though there have been recent issues overcome, this one has stumped me. Last Wednesday night, after setting up, I went to turn on and connect my ASIAir Plus with my tablet (as I have without issue for three years). Though the WIFI showed being connected to the ASIAir Plus on my tablet, the connection read "No Internet Connection" below … and the ZWO software would not connect on the tablet. I tried everything I knew to do - the usual rebooting, etc. remedies without success. Fortunately, my iPhone connected immediately and I was able to image. Nevertheless …. I have also tried remedying the issue on the tablet to no avail, and am not sure WHY the tablet WIFI would show the ASIAir as having "No Internet Connection," as the ASIAir generates its own WIFI signal. If anyone has had this issue and resolved it, please let me know what I can do. I hope to avoid this matter tonight. Thank you, Jay |

Something similar happened to me a few months back; it went away after telling the iPad to "forget this network" and reconnecting after that. Not sure if that falls in the "usual remedies" category you mention though.

I had a similar issue where after the most recent update the asiair wifi doesn't show up or when it does I can't connect. I bought a wifi extender and used an ethernet cable to plug into the air. Has been working ok for me. And yes, it does say no internet connection but that's not the case

Thank you, @Rostokko and @Robert Khoury ~ I think I have found a/the remedy. In Windows Settings, under the ASIAir tab are four (4) parameters; one being "Local Network." Somehow, that setting had turned off. Who knows why ~ one of life's great mysteries .... I turned it on and my tablet immediately connected. Hopefully, this is a permanent solution. |

Very nice! I'm still puzzled by my issue. ZWO wanted to log in to my PC remotely via a download and I didn't feel comfortable doing that.

@Robert Khoury , I had a number of issues after the last two updates. Ultimately, I reverted to the "factory version" and ran the latest update (again) on my iPhone and tablet. That seemed to remedy those issues ....

Jay Hovnanian: Thank you Jay, I've tried everything I can think of. Reset the Air to factory defaults and updated the app with no luck. Wasn't sure if there were other items I could check. But the wifi extender seems to be working for now. |
