Buy an extension cord to bring AC current to your rig and use an 12v converts to your convenience from there. That way most of the distance will be covered by AC current, which is immune to voltage drop over distance. You have then 12v where you need. This is simple and efficient. Here is my solution with an industrial converter for the mount and the rest is on classical commercial 220v/12v converters.
