Hello, I have a problem with asiair mini not guiding. I setup everything, connect asiair and mount with usb cable. I do polar alignment with asiair and it goes. The mount is tracking and goto is working perfectly. But when I start guiding with asiair over ZWO 120mm it popups that the mount is far from the celestial equator. For accurate result, please calibrate at declination of -30 to +30 degrees. It starts callibrating and doesnt stop. So guiding is not working with asiair but the mount itself guides ok. I done the same with skywatcher star adventurer and it worked. With EQ6pro i set EQMod option and baud 115200. Everything works except the callibration. Thank you! |

Hi you'll need to calibrate closer to the celestial equator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXRbFBeKf84&t=1206s 11:48. Good luck! |

Yes i saw that. So basicly i do the PA than I set goto to the target away from the meridian and close to the equator as stated between 0 and 30 degrees. Than start the guiding and callibration should be done? After that I can moove to the shooting target. Thanks

Yes thats correct, perform the PA, move to a spot close to the Celestial Equator and start guiding. Once calibration is complete you can move to your target.

Yes, I know the problem too. But when I then return to the original destination, the ASI Air first recalibrates the guiding at the start of the recording. Although the destination is then far away from the equator again. |
