Drew Evans: Quite easy. Install Chrome Remote Desktop on your Macbook as source. Install ASIAir app on your Macbook. Connect to your Macbook running ASIAir from anywhere using another PC or Macbook Chrome Remote Desktop as client. |

I am trying to control may AsiAir with iPhone wile I'm not at home. I know that it can be don but did not manage yet. Tried with VPN, Tailscale etc but I am doing something wrong. Dean - if you need help with the VPN, I can help you. I have my air connected to my home wifi and use a VPN to run it off my phone no matter where in the world I am as if standing next to my scope - even through 5g cellular. You were on the right track with tailscale. Using remote access applications with emulators is doable but super clunky and your machine needs to be on while away from home. VPN is the way to go. |
