Quite easy.  Install Chrome Remote Desktop on your Macbook as source.  Install ASIAir app on your Macbook.  Connect to your Macbook running ASIAir from anywhere using another PC or Macbook Chrome Remote Desktop as client.

At home i use i main PC that i wifi connect with the asiair plus and with an android emulator i start asiair app.
Then using teamviewer i have a remote controll with my smarthphone.

I am trying to control may AsiAir with iPhone wile I'm not at home. I know that it can be don but did not manage yet. Tried with VPN, Tailscale etc but I am doing something wrong.
Does anyone has a workflow to control asi remote?

Dean - if you need help with the VPN, I can help you. I have my air connected to my home wifi and use a VPN to run it off my phone no matter where in the world I am as if standing next to my scope - even through 5g cellular. You were on the right track with tailscale.

Using remote access applications with emulators is doable but super clunky and your machine needs to be on while away from home. VPN is the way to go.

I had a more complex challenge in that I am at home (or somewhere else) and my setup is at a remote location without WiFi access, only 4G. Still, this could be solved.

I am assuming your ASIAir is connected to your home WiFi? So a simplified version of my solution (see chart below) should work.

As was mentioned before, VPN by Tailscale is probably the easiest way to go. The biggest question here is if your router has native Tailscale support. I bought a small travel router for my onsite area which does, so setup is very simple in my case - but it should generally work on all standard routers.

The router and iPhone need to be added to the Tailscale network - if it is configured properly, you can then open the ASIAir app on your iPhone and connect to the ASIAir by inputting its internal IP.
