donc si vous regardez le ciel à l'oeil nu en fin de journée,  vous voyez bien le croissant de lune?

Can we see what is attached to the camera, if anything. I mean, just the camera not the barlow or the scope, just the camera and whatever else is screwed onto it?

*** Sure. I see the 'small dot of light as pictured above without the 1'25 adapter 20250202_183215.jpgon, and with it on, I see nothing. 20250202_182951.jpg***

Can you see anything when the lens is on (2nd pic)? Point it to the ceiling and move the lever to focus, if anything appears on the screen.

*** Yep, I get a very clear imagine with the lens on outside of the telescope. ***

So the camera is working all-right. That's a start. So the main problem for you is focusing. Ignore the barlow for the moment being. Do you have an adaptor to fit the camera with 1.25" adaptor onto the scope (1st pic)? You should have been given one with the scope.

*** I have adaptors, but they don't fit the camera. The telescope also came with an adaptor, but it doesn't fit the camera. I have an Askar 103 APO. I think I'm going to need to buy one. Any recommendations? ***

*** I know, I need to clean it. And yes, I saw the crescent moon through the camera, but the camera obviously wasn't working properly because I couldn't see the sky around it if that makes sense? ***

*** Yes ***

*Now, if you put the eyepiece into the scope and point it to the moon can you focus on the moon clearly? You should see craters and such. If you do then you replace the eyepiece with camera once you get a 1.25" to 2" adaptor. You should already have a 2.5" to 2" adaptor with the scope, if I'm not mistaken.

*** Yes, I can. My question would be is it normal to see the inside of your telescope tube while imaging? The picture I sent above (with barlow attached) is what I see viewing anything. Should the image be that small? ***

This is what you should have and how it should be assembled together, with the focuser racked all in (but it needs to be way out).

*** The adapter did come with the camera. I'm saying I can't see anything out of the adapter. I tried using a different adapter and holding it away from my telescope, and I got a clear image, but once I put it back in, the image became extremely small. ***

*No way. First off, remove the barlow. The view of the moon (in this case full) is shown here below with your scope and camera:

*Can you fit the camera with the 1.25 nose-piece into the 1.25" adaptor? If you can you are in business. Your problem is to focus because I suspect you are way out of focus.

*** Yep. I've tried focusing but it still shows the blanked out screen with the color changes as you move the telescope around.  ***

Incidentally, if you can see the moon through the eyepiece then you know you can focus the scope. If you do while tracking the moon in the sky the next step is to replace the eyepiece with the camera.

*** All I have is a blank screen with a histogram that won't move. I don't get what I'm doing wrong ***

c'est votre mise au point qui ne va pas je confirme,
la molette réagie bien le frein n'est pas mis  le tirage n'est peut être pas suffisant (ajout de bagues allonges)

*** Camera  and telescope are both in focus. I'm wondering if I have a faulty camera or something.  I dont think im doing anything wrong, and it shouldnt take 5000 adapters to make this thing work.***
