Bruno Figueira: @Michelle Rousset you're absolutly right. my mistake. Just use as the figure and it will work nicelly. As you can see in my last photo last night
NGC2244.jpg *** Nice! Is this picture from your other cameras - or did you finally get your Duo?? Nice stars all the way to the corners! How was the guiding (if taken with the Duo.)
@Michelle Rousset ASI533MC Pro with the Altair Astro Dual Band SII OIII 4nm. Only 35min due weather. AM3 Mount with ASI290MM guiding paired with the ASKAR 30mm guide scope.
Unfortunatly the DUO has not yet arrived (last information in the next month) Michelle , I saw that you were dealing with vignetting. Ive spent 2 nights trying to save it too. I've got focus dialed in and get great guidng with the duo. But then vignetting and ight drop off is terrible. Ultimately, how did you solve it? I've tried stepping down to f 3.2 but still the vignetting is horrible. Any advice?

Opening this question to anyone else using the Rokinon 135, I have not issues with focus, but terrible problems with vignettting.
I really hope to use the asi2600mc duo with this lens. I have verified guiding works fine, and realize that using this as F2 is probably not going to work, but really hope to use the scope at f2.8
Any suggestions?

Can't see what the problem may be, mine perform flawlessly even with a FF sensor. and @ f/2 too There is a bit of light drop off at the corners but nothing that can't be remedied with a flat frame: Samyang 135mm F/2 @ F/2 with Full Frame Sensor Test (OSC) - AstroBinMine is the Nikon version though and maybe the Canon version might not be as good?

Then, you shouldn't have a problem too unless the lens has been damaged.

With my focus being spot on, I really dont think this back spacing.
How are you connecting your camera to the lens? Wondering if the ZWO adapter is causing the issue.

I have got 2 ZWO adapters and none of them is giving me any grief. There is no practical way you can vignette a 28mm sensor with those adaptors, even at f/2.

Any suggestions? Perhaps a dumb suggestion, but given that your guiding is fine (and the guide sensor should be in deeper vignetting than the main sensor), have you verified that it's actually the lens? If you take the lens and adapters off and take a "flat" with just an exposed sensor, do you still get vignetting?

I literally have no ideas left to try. The Asi533 has only a tiny bit at f2. But the asi2600 is absolutely crazy.

But I can take some flats and see what I get tonight, that's not a bad idea maybe if I share the flats it would help others identify what I'm seeing. Maybe it's not vignetting at all, maybe it's something else, I'm taking one second guide exposures, so they're pretty short, but to your point I have not noticed any vignetting on my guide sensor. Not really sure what to check next, it's a duo so the guide sensor and main sensor are in the exact same path.

Okay I'm reporting back because this was curious to many people.
So ultimately my problem was my lens hood. I went to take some flats, it was dark outside I put my light source on top of my lens and could instantly see light leaking out the sides where the lens hood connects to the lens. This was immediately suspect for me.
So I took the flats, and then looked at them and they showed signs of vignetting, it may not be real vignetting or what we can consider traditional vignetting there's definitely a circle around the image and the outside edges are dark.
So to continue testing I pulled the lens hood off took flats again, this time no crazy vignetting.
Ultimately what I ended up doing was running some electrical tape around the bottom of the lens hood on the outside to seal things in and my problem went away.
I should point out however that this lens will not image without real vignetting at f2 on my 2600. But if I change it to f2.8 everything's great.
I guess I'm on the hunt for a replacement lens hood. But at the moment things work fine with the electrical tape around it.

My vignetting in f2 is quite a bit worse. But I don't think you can say yours is fully illuminated either. Will share the next time I get a chance to copy one of my asiair.
