Hello all

I last night tested my new ATR585M for the first night and I am getting a weird problem (that will ruin calibration frames). In about 30% of subs the image is offset and a part of the right image is wrapping over to the left edge (creating the darker border seen in the image below).
Acquiring through NINA. Tested both the ASCOM driver as well as ToupTek's own software and updated both. USB limit does not help...

Does anyone happen to have any idea what might be causing this? (Firmware is v4.50, I did not yet reflash that since the latest on the website is v4.49.)

Okay. I pulled the trigger and rolled back the firmware to v4.49, which seems to have fixed the issue for the time being…

I ran into this same issue. I'll give the firmware rollback a try!

Great success on the rollback - thanks for finding that. The bar was driving me crazy.

Are you shooting HDR, LCG, or HCG? I'm trying HDR at gain 100 and it seems to be working OK? I've never shot mono before, so I don't really have a comparison basis.

Hey webcubus

Happy to hear that the rollback worked for you.

I sadly have been out with a cold since the post and haven't been able to gather more experience.
THE HDR mode is interesting. To my limited understanding it reads out the same sub in LCG and HCG mode and then uses the HCG data to extend saturated pixels from the LCG data. The one worry that I have with this is the applicability of dark frames. Since there all pixels will only ever have LCG data?!
