Hi, I have been having issues in NINA with sending the mount to a custom parking position in EQMOD. Let me explain: I have set in EQMOD a custom parking position (mount in orizontal pisition with CW bar orizontal and scope pointing approx 1 degree above orizon). Now, in EQMOD if I select HOME as parkin position and hit "park" the mount park to HOME pointing to polaris. If in EQMOD I select instead the custom position and then hit park the mount goes to the orizontal position that I have customized. So far so good. But in NINA is a different story. If the EQOMD has the orizontal positin selected as parking position, when NINA receives the comand to park during the sequence then it sends the mount to HOME (pointing to polaris instead of going orizontal). I cannot figure out how to fix this and if there is way. I did some web search but I cannot find this psecific issue resolved. ANy idea? Sebastiano |

Not with EQMOD but with a different interface I had to set up the PARK position in NINA (rather than in the ASCOM driver) to get it to park the mount where I wanted it.

Simple solution. Connect to the mount in EQmod and go to your parked position. Connect to the mount in NINA and as soon as it connects, press the set as park button. NINA will use this as the parked position. The only thing is you have to remember to do this every time you connect the mount.

Hi Tony, Such a simple hint and I wonder how did I miss it. I will try that but I am confident this is the missing piece of the puzzle as it make absolutely sense. Thanks a lot!!! Sebastiano |

I haven't tried the feature but I think Green Swamp Server (the modern alternative to EQmod) has the ability to store a custom park position.

Indeed, in Green Swamp you have the possibility of parking in the position you want, in my case I have it parked like this in a horizontal position since in the home position it hits me against the sliding roof.
