Hi Community,
I have tilt in my system. To get rid of this I have the Photon Cage Tilt and Backspace Adapter from ASG. I tried to get rid of the tilt under NINA with the Aberration Inspector. However, I don't quite understand the information from the AI, in my opinion they contradict each other or I'm interpreting something completely wrong. I have a screenshot of the AI here. Image 2 shows a very curved surface, while image 3 says that the tilt is completely gone. But this is contradicted by image 6 with clear eccentricity and image 8 with a sensor that is still tilted. Photographed on the object, my stars in the left area are still not quite perfect (good, but not perfect) but why are the data so contradictory. Can someone give me a short lesson on interpreting the AI and its numbers and graphics? Which numbers are correct(er) ?

Thank you
Werner

Is there really no one who can explain the difference between Pic 3 and 8 ? Why are they so different ?
This are all pictures from ONE run, not a mix of several runs.

Hi Werner

No- as long as you have decent clear skies and decent equipment, just slew to a slightly different position in the sky and try again.  This is finicky and can sometimes indicate the model is a fit or not, given consecutive runs.  I spent a number of nights using NINA/AI and the Photon Cage to get my ASI6200MM adjusted on my Tak FSQ-85 EDX and it works just fine.  You just need some patience.

This video is most helpful.............

Best of luck,
Bruce
