I know that NINA sends a park command to the driver and the driver actually does the parking. The AM5 does not have a park command in their driver. Has anyone figured out a work around like maybe some script that puts the mount at a predetermined position?

The park command on the driver puts your scope in horizontal position. Otherwise just use find home, to have it park pointing to polaris. There is no way to have a custom position AFAIK. You could try to calibrate your home position to a different position but I wouldnt mess around with that tbh.

Ok, thanks. I was running an older firmware which didn't have a park function, now it is working great! Thank you so much.

We've been asking ZWO to support park positions for the AM3 & AM5 for a while now, and also the option to park other mounts that ASIAir supports. Would be a welcome addition for those of us with permanently mounted scopes and observatory roofs that need closed.
