Hi Carlos

Alot depends on your budget. Something like a Redcat 51, a sharpstar 61 or a SW evostar 72 ed depending on what you want to spend woukd be ideal, along with a 533mc camera.

I would say something in 60mm range. I used a William Optics Z61 for over a year with it. And easily got five minutes subs with it. There's quite a few options in that range.

I'm using an Askar 71F along with IMX585 and performs pretty well

I have a Redcat 51mm on an AZ-GTI mount in EQ mode.  No issues.

I did some stuff with Az-GTi in eq mode with a Lacerta 80/500… It worked but nevertheless I would recommend a short 72mm Apo at max (the Lacerta one is a fine piece if scope in my opinion).

To be honest, it all comes down to your pixel scale. I had a takahashi fs60cb on my azgti with either a 585mm or 533mm giving me a pixel scale of around 2 - 2.7 arcseconds per pixel and my azgti would merrily guide to around 1 - 1.5 arcseconds per pixel so I was good for up to 5 minute exposures no problem.

If you're not looking at guiding with your rig, then, with a scope in the 250-400mm focal length range, and a camera with a pixel size of around 3-4 microns, you should be fine for 1 minute exposures unguided so long as you're polar alignment is good. You may end up throwing the odd sub away due to start trails but it shouldn't be too bad.

As an alternative you can also look at Askar SQA 55 f/4.8  along with any OSC such as ZWO ASI M533 MC Pro.

It is quite price competitive as compared to Redcat with same performance

I use this combo as a travel scope (with an ASI294MC Pro and ASI AIR) - very easy to pack and set up etc.

I use a poor mans RedCat:  Evoguide50 ED for imaging (and a ZWO585MC pro), great combination and cheaper than the RedCat.

OP will need to get the Starizona flattener for this one. Skywatcher FF doesn't allow the use of a filter drawer because it has only 17.5mm backfocus, if I remember correctly. Pretty sure OP would want to use a UV IR cut at least, because the 585 uses an AR window.

True, i use the new V3 EvoFF with the 55mm backfocus.
