FWIW, I've got this error before and it was caused by too many of the stars being saturated. I ran the desaturate stars command under star processing and it solved the issue.

It just worked if you drizzle you might have to play with the Fl value so the pixel scale matches your actual pixel scale. It can be a pita sometimes.

CS! Just chiming in for others that find this thread. Desaturating the stars fixed it for me also!
