My Askar FMA230 is equipped with the EAF kit and it works really well. It's 3D printed and the Author used a very clever solution for a problem of focusing ring travelling somehow with the lens, no doubt. But there is a minor problem related to the plastic that isn't fully stiff. 

I used two rectangular spacers provided with the kit for the proper tension of a timing belt. During focusing using the EAF I found that it slightly lifts its holder. I recorded this effect by squishing the timing belt with my fingers:

I also found that the kit has an unused hole with M3 nut inside, so I designed and printed a kind of supporting bracket::
