Hi,

does anybody has an idea how to connect
1). the Altair Hypercam 26M with the (T2/M42 female)
2). Touptek Filter Drawer (M54 female)

I don't understand why the front side/front plate of the Altair Hypercam 26C/M does not have any screw holes.

You will need an adaptor like this one?

Hello CraigT82,

yes, i had this adapter in mind too, but it would add 2 mm to the back focal length, which is limited to the standard 55mm by the use of a coma corrector/focal reducer. This is no option for me due to my equipment. My telescope is a SW Quattro 6"/f4, with coma corrector --> f3.45. My optical train includes the following components:

- Altair Hypercam 26M (Sensor to flange distance) 17.5 mm
- Touptek Filter Drawer 20,0 mm
- Touptek OAG 17,5 mm
- plus a spacer 0.5 mm for 2mm filter thickness
- in summary --> 55,5 mm

So there is no space for an adapter with an additional optical thickness. I will try the following adapters, which i can screw together to an effective thickness of zero (or less i hope )
