Hi all, I was thinking which is the most efficient way of analysing the quality (seeing) of an AVI file while out in the field? I know autostakkert can run frame analysis for each video sequence but is it a case of just manually viewing the seeing in each video and choosing the best AVI sequences that way? I'm sure that is something that comes with experience! CS Mark |

I would recommend running the AVI's through PIPP ( Planetary Imaging PreProcessor ) before feeding them into AS3 for stacking. Great piece of software that takes the guesswork out of it and speeds things up for stacking. https://sites.google.com/site/astropipp/ |
