This streak is showing up on more than one filter, so it's not on the filters.   I've had the cover/flip-flat wiped down, so it's not coming from there.

Anyone know how to get rid of this?  Though it seems to be calibrating out, I don't see it on the lights, I'd still like to know if it's a defect in the camera or something else.  It might be on an optical component inside the scope.  Should I try and clean it?post-426477-0-57142700-1749747166_thumb.jpg

Thanks,

Jerry

Why would you see it in the lights, do you see any of the other white patchy areas in your lights..?
It won’t be on the flats panel it’s too far away and would be way to far out of focus, it’s obviously close to the sensor or on the sensor, and to even think of cleaning the inside of your scope lens, would be a terrible idea.
I get these on flats and it’s just an optical aberration caused by the LED light panel, there are white patchy areas all over your flats, it’s just purely coincidental that one happens to be long and thin, nothing at all to even give a second thought too

I have a similar aberration that appears in my flats running roughly in a diagonal from a 1 o’clock to 7 o’clock position and it always calibrates out so I just leave it alone.  I do my best not to disturb my imaging train at all (other than taking the entire system off of my mount for storage) so it stays relatively consistent.
