I don't think I'd ever be completely satisfied with every photo but I'm most pleased with my image of the Pleiades. It was my first shot with my ZWO 2600mc Pro too and my first time properly getting to grips with Pixinsight. https://www.astrobin.com/fn027k/B/ What's your favourite image that you have captured with your equipment? |

This is my favourite. Just because I struggle a bit when processing galaxies but I think this one came out okay and I am pleased with it https://astrob.in/b99ln2/0/ |

This is an image of SH2-230 that I am satisfied with, mostly because it is first light with new telescope and it came out quite ok. https://www.astrobin.com/xprgej/H/ |

It's probably my version of the Pleiades as well. Next year I think I might try and make a mosaic to try to get more of the dust around it in context. https://www.astrobin.com/f2u6v2/B/ |

I think the Crescent Nebula for me. I am still learning a lot about the post processing world. This was my first time drizzling an image, but I think it turned out decent. https://www.astrobin.com/2zwfwh/ |

Always feels like my last image is my ‘best-yet’… 😂 https://www.astrobin.com/svk9p8/ Posted this one the weekend. I sat super long on the data, was never satisfied with earlier attempts, but really happy with it now. Being a mosaic project, I sank a lot editing time in it as well. |

We all have that first image where everything just suddenly goes right and you are surprised at what appears on your processing screen in front of you. For me that was an image of the Elephants Trunk that also became my first image published by anyone. https://www.astrobin.com/vvryq9/ A near tie was my first NB image with my SVX127D that became my first image nominated for anything on AB. That too is a great feeling and confirmation from peers that maybe you are doing something right. The struggles learning seem endless sometimes. https://www.astrobin.com/8zzevy CS, Jeff |

A tough pick, I don't have that many images yet and only a few uploaded to Astrobin. I'm just about done with upgrading my gear before next season. But so far the most exciting was C2022 E3 ZTF which was a bit too close for my setup at the time, but it was such fun and at times frustrating to capture something rare that had to be done within a certain time frame. I'm still very much learning in all aspects of the hobby, but I think I would have to say my first image. I haven't revisited this object yet, but I will as the season starts again. I planned it as I got my first proper setup last year and, though it's not a very good image, it came out ok. Manual focus and no guiding, shot with ASICAP via my computer. I still rate it highly as it was my first image and it's tough to beat that feeling when you put it all together after planning it the first time, though the comet came close: https://www.astrobin.com/wyhg2c/ |

Always feels like my last image is my ‘best-yet’… 😂 Your version is great @holeris. Congrats! I also want to build a natural colour version like yours, love the pinks and blues… but only after editing a few other projects, to come back with a fresh set of eyes! |

We've always had a love of globular clusters but this rendition of Omega Centauri is our favourite image. In part because it's the biggest and most magnificent of the globular clusters but because this particular image has FWHM approaching 1" resolution on a night of particularly good seeing. https://www.astrobin.com/full/qklds5/0/ |

My favorite OSC image is a giant 3 panel mosaic using a wide scope and FF camera of the Rosette and Monoceros. https://astrob.in/aw04k9/0/ My favorite Mono NB is my most recent image of the Wizard Nebula. This is the image that I think finally clicked NB Mono imaging. https://astrob.in/0mixjs/0/ |

I'll play! Im coming up on my year anniversary soon, hoping I can improve on targets that I started on last fall. For me it was my Ced 51 image. I had a little bit of help and coaching to improve my narrowband addition, but I absolutely loved the framing, and I was able to pull it off with relatively short integration times. My only self critique were my stars had some issues, it bugged me a tad. https://www.astrobin.com/trmt94/ Second in line was my M106 that I spent some time with a new OSC camera on. Still had some underlying noise issues that I probably could have solved with more time, but it came out pretty clean otherwise. https://www.astrobin.com/ob4cec/ |

Joe Linington: *** Awesome pics Joe. I haven't done any mosaics yet. Definitely adds a nice dimension when you can capture multiple targets. The Wizard Nebula is super too.*** |
