I've heard that some of the turbo-encabulator technology that was originally developed for aviation applications, is now being incorporated into some of the newest mounts from a couple of manufacturers to achieve a quantum leap in tracking performance.  It's expensive but it will be interesting to hear how well it works when these mounts make it to the market.  Here's a little video that explains the technology and I'm sure that you'll see why I'm so excited about it.

April first?  I thought the first pre-order was already issued and closed on Feb 30.  I missed that because I only knew it on Feb 31.  Too bad.

Yeah, ok, now I want seven hundreds of these new mounts, and all shipped to me on April  the 1st!!!!

BTW, that technobabble is hilarious. In Italy we say this is a "supercazzola" (in english could be traslated in "hyperdick" maybe....)

Ciao.

What excited me most was his mentioning of the "girdle spring".  Ok- time to go to the gym.  It is my ab workout day but I am not sure I can do it since my stomach is still hurting from laughing smile

I'll be giving this new technology a pass. I rely on "side fumbling" for the artistic interpretation of my images.

Unfortunately, Planewave hasn't announced any plans for an upgrade kit so it looks like it will only be available in the new models--maybe sometime next year.

^That's a shame. I was certain Planewave would be one of the first companies to give users the opportunity to not have to fabulate their own amulite before each session.

Last time I tried that the hydro-pin- flat- valve burner started to smoke and the pin-spring unit started shaking and shimmying like a son-of-a-gun.  I had to shut-er-down right away.  I was only able to guide at 0.7
