Photographing the Rho Ophiuchi Molecular Cloud was an unforgettable journey into the depths of the cosmos, filled with inspiring moments and profound beauty. Over six nights, I dedicated myself to capturing the essence of this stunning celestial object and everything around it, and each night revealed more of its mesmerizing splendor. One with the Skywatcher adventure EQ6-r Pro with the Redcat 51 scope and a ZWO ASI 294MC camera.   The second rig used a Skywatcher adventure GTI with a Sony A7III camera. Some nights with a Sony 50mm and others with a Samyang/Rokinon 135mm.   |

Our galaxy is an amazing place!! This is one of the more interesting regions in it, too! Well captured! One small critique: The right corners of the last image, look like uncorrected LP? Might be worth trying to extract that for an optimal view! |

Jon Rista: Thanks Jon. I think you might be right about the right corners but I am not really sure. I tried to extract it but it had weird results. In the top right ,[i] [/i]IC 4592 is really near and there are a lot of nebulosity in this area. In the bottom right it is probably an issue and worth check again. |
