I am encountering a new issue with all bright stars in targets I've been imaging the last couple of weeks. The brighter stars have bands or diamond shaped rings with different colors in wave like form around them. Please see attached example of a 10 second image of Rigel. The issue is with 9.5" Edge HD using Hyperstar v. 4, ASI2600MC Pro camera and Antlia Triband RGB Ultra Filer II. I've checked the collimation 3 times using the "out of focus donut shape" method and it appears spot on. I've checked focus with Bahtinov mask and the EAF and it appears good too. I am using a black non-reflective dew shield and have the red LED light from the camera covered in black tape. Any ideas of what could be causing this issue? Could it still be some kind of tilt issue with Hyperstar? Or maybe an issue with the filter (the filter is 'frozen' in its holder in the Hyperstar and I need time to unlock it without damaging it so cannot remove it yet to test)? I've tried shorter subs 10 sec, 30 sec up to 60 sec with gain of 100 - all have the same result.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time and clear skies to all!
Gina
