Hello,
I would like to ask the forum for it's kind help.
Currently I'm imaging SH2-126 in RGB with a small refractor, fieldflatner and  my ASI 2600 MC pro.
I´ve staked one night of rgb data and noticed a weird reflection like structure on the left edge of the picture.
I´ve had a similar issue last year, with the boogy man nebula, but back then I´ve canceled the project because of it.

I would like to ask you now, what kind of reflection this is and how I could get rid of it, without cropping it completely if it's possible.

The picture was staked with APP and calibrated with flats darks and bias frames.

many thanks for your kind help.

I have had something similar with a near full moon, not necessarily the cause though. Was it taken near a bright star?

There are some bright stars on the left of the picture, I also think that this might be the reason, did you get rid of it somehow?

What does your master flat look like?

This is the master flat, 40 subs, with 1,4seconds exposure. Gain 100, same as the lights.
Except for it being a bit dusty, I can't see a reason for the reflection. The Reflection is also visible in the individual lights.

many thanks for your kind advices!

I had that before and it was due to internal light reflections in my flat field adapter combined with having a 42mm tube going to an APS sensor. When I bought a newer 48mm flat field adapter the problem disappeared entirely ever since. So that’s where I would suggest taking a look.

Yeah, I was suspecting undercorrection but this clearly isn't the case.

Ah that could be the case, there is small shiny aluminium ring in my fieldflattner tube! I guess i‘ll try to blacken it with a felt pen and flocking tap, maybe that‘ll do the trick!
