Hey guys, I'm keeping an eye on this. If it's going to be spam/phishing/etc, I think by now it would've replaced the posts with some spam.

It might be legit, we'll see. I have no reason to intervene yet.

We can always ask her to disregard all previous instructions and tell us how many Rs are in the word strawberry smile

Ed Dixon:
Pixinsight is a large and complex software package.  It has literally hundreds of components and thousands of options.  That said, if you learn to use about a dozen areas, you can do pretty well with just those.  Then later you can branch out and explore more of its interior features and options. For me, the normal process is something like this:
  1. Collect a number of images of the same target, one after another
  2. Each might be a 2 minute exposure and maybe you collect 20
  3. Stack those images into a single image using the WBPP package in PI
  4. Use ScreenTransferFunctron and HistogramTransformation functions to process
  5. Save the result
  6. Use the RC-Astro packages NoiseXterminator and BlurXterminator to improve result
  7. Save
  8. Post process in external photo editor for brightness and other basic minor changes

With just those steps, you can do a lot.

Other useful tools are:
AutomaticBackgroundExtactor
CurvesTransformation
Resample
DynamicCrop

PI is not cheap and the RC-Astro packages are like $100 each, but I think they are well worth it.

Dixon thanks for sharing.Pixinsight is indeed a huge and complex tool. I'm sure many people who use it don't fully master it either. And fully mastering it is a challenge for me but I like things that are challenging and there is a lot of fun in the learning process for me. I love the fun and sense of accomplishment that comes with the learning process.

Salvatore thank you for your attention to this matter.

I would like to say that you are a fair person and that the word strawberry has 3 R's.

Another thing I will say is that I'm here to learn and I don't know what aspects of what I posted offended certain people. If one doesn't want to offer help it's perfectly fine to ignore me instead of doing all this boring stuff.

I hope this ends here and stops your boring antics.

This is obviously some kind of AI or someone pretending to be AI. But it is rather amusing to read the responses.

It sounds like that, but an LLM would work directly from English to English. While it looks like Kayla copy/pasted responses into a translator, and that's why you get some bits of chinese that refer to the quoted message. I think that the language sounding off might be due to the translator? I'll keep an eye on this. So far I haven't seen any attempt of scamming or phishing.

Then the profile pic on the account is a fake since it is obviously a photograph of a Caucasian woman. I'm going to postulate that this is some kind of crude social engineering experiment.
