Hi all,

Is it possible to combine perfectly two separate setup data into one if those two setup are the same anyway?

I was thinking about using two scopes on one mount, but many keep talking about dithering and sync and whatever issues it can be happened, then i was thinking maybe two mounts with same setup capturing same target data but different channel, is that ok and possible?

I will try to have the best data from each setup avoiding each setup individual issues if possible, so i can gain good data from both [or more if it worked], if it is not easy or not possible to have like two setup on one mount for one target then i will try to do it with more mounts to avoid one mount problem dialing with two setup.

I think this question has been asked many times (with slightly different flavors, maybe) and the answer has always yes it is well possible both with identical setups or with different setups, same mount or different mounts.

Read the topic that asks,

How to combine two masters obtained with two different telescopes. To be specific, this is the two setups I used.

Setup 1, Astro-Physics Mach 1 GTOCP4, TEC APO110 @f/5.73 630mm and the FLI-ML694 with 4.54um pixels, image scale 1.48, fov 68x55. This was used just for the lum subs.

Setup 2, Astro-Physics 1100GTO-AE CP4 , TEC APO180 @f/7.2 1296mm and the FLI-PL16803 with 9um pixels, image scale 1.43, fov 98x98. This was used just for RGB subs.

Yes i know it has been asked in different ways, but always if ask in others topics some people just say "Why don't you start your own thread topic asking about it rathar than hijacking or using others topic", so i will ask always if others feel bad and annoyed me asking in similar topics but different approaches.

Ok, i will read it.

I believe if that will work with you then it definitely will work with two exactly the same setup then with different data channels [like one with L and one with RGB or one with Ha and one with OIII].

Thank you
