Images don't come in parts, they are a whole. Restart from stretching the master and splitting it into a star and starless components. I see that you dropped those artificial spikes, which is a good thing but also you dimmed the OIII parts considerably. Since you're doing some kind of OOH imagery I would start from the stretched OOH and see what you did then that you would do differently now. Also, you have to control the halos. Simple is best, that's my rule.

Incidentally, Gum15 is the small nebula to the lower right, not the centerpiece.
