Looks really nice!

More subs is always better, but you may not have needed 18 hours. There is diminishing returns on this target after maybe 4 hours.

On the other hand, doing so insured you revealed nicely the newly discovered feature below crescent…that bluish bubble. Another amateur found it just a year or two ago and I'm not sure it's received a formal name, yet. Those of us who would settle for fewer subs (guilty as charged) would not even see that in our final product.

You certainly have done an excellent job in acquisition and processing.

Interesting that you didn't get a more pronounced display of the crescent's greenish oxygen envelope. It certainly isn't due to a lack of effort! But you could always one day use an OIII filter and add the oxygen stack to this one.

Keep on keepin' on!

I agree, very nicely done.

Dave, can you point out this bluish bubble, all I see is the Crescent and the Soap Bubble nebula.

I’m an idiot. It is indeed the soap bubble nebula. First noticed in 2008. Shows how much behind the times I am!

thank you both! And Dave that could be my fault in regard to lack of the greenish oxygen. I probably could have done a better job of bringing that out more on processing. I may give it another go tonight lol I do appreciate the feedback!
